get in touch with event ideas

I love sharing the joy of words with readers and writers and am always interested in giving readings, taking part in discussions and delivering workshops. Just get in touch if you'd like to talk about any ideas for events.

In 2017 so far, I've read in Dawson City (Westminster Hotel), at the Atlin Arts and Music Festival where I also delivered fiction and poetry workshops, at the Whitehorse launch of my book, If There Were Roads, and also at Chrys Salt's Whitehorse reading.

In 2016, I gave poetry and fiction readings in Yellowknife, Toronto, Saskatoon, Hamilton and Edinburgh. While on my travels, I also delivered a fiction writing workshop in Yellowknife, as a Northwords NWT event.

Thanks to the following wonderful venues and their volunteers: Westminster Hotel, Baked Cafe and Bakery, Yellowknife Book Cellar, The Art Bar Poetry Series, the gritLIT festival, the Hamilton Poetry Centre, The Word on the Street and the University of Edinburgh. Thanks, too, to the Government of Yukon Touring Artist Fund.

book clubs

Get in touch if you'd like me to come to your book club. I can read a short story or some poems and then you can ask me any questions you like (I think).
